The Snowboard School in Selva Gardena was founded in 1999 by a team of enthousiastic young snowboarders. One year later they got the permission to teach snowboarding as an official snowboard school. Since then a team of snowboard-teachers is proud of beeing part of the Ski & Snowboard School 2000 in Selva Gardena and also of being a member of "Prada – The leading Ski School".

Highly motivated while at the same time always concentrated on this pretentious kind of skiing, they are teaching how to use the snowboard. With the necessary discipline the participants of snowboard-classes are beeing taught how to do difficult jumps, freestyle, rail, or alpine. Only during very good conditions referring to the wheather and snow, a team of snowboard school teachers shows their pupils how to do the freeride in deep snow.

The snowboard school got the unique chance of presenting the only Yellow Offpist Academy in Val Gardena, South Tyrol. This includes highly qualified lessons of snowboarding aside the official ski-courses. After sufficiently beeing educated and equipped with safety outfits, small groups of snowboarders are entering the offpists of Val Gardena in Italy. The jumps at the half-pipe are only beeing taught during private-lessons.
